This is a very comprehensive list of the many things you need to think about and decide when choosing your wedding dress. And bridesmaid outfits. And the outfits you need for pre-wedding events. And accessories. And coordinating mother of the bride and mother of the groom.You get the picture. It is exhausting.
That is precisely the reason why such checklists help. So you don't forget something in the planning hectic.
What I liked was the list of dress cuts and styles with illustration for each mentioned style, different necklines and backlines, sleeves and veil styles. It is very easy to say I like this, don't like that, or search more on the internet, when all are presented and named to you. Also - if you are not sure how a specific style fits to your figure, you can just write a list of styles you want to check before narrowing down the style of your gown.
The only thing I didn't like is that the book doesn't mention that you actually also want to be coordinated with your groom :-)
That can be a very easy or a very difficult task and should not be overlooked.
For me this book doesn't function as a stand alone book. It misses the part on jewelry - it is in a separate book by the same author. I would say it is probably a good companion after one reads a general book on wedding planning and understands that the jewelry, hair style and make up have to match the gown style and the general theme/feel of the wedding.
